Yesterday marked the beginning of Hexagon’s annual HxGN LIVE conference, taking place for the first time at the landmark Venetian hotel in Las Vegas.
The excitement was palpable as more than 3,000 industry movers and shakers poured into the venue. Hexagon fans, partners, customers and businesses were eager to mingle and experience our latest innovative solutions firsthand.
People wasted no time jumping into action, with most of the activity focused on hands-on training sessions with popular applications and technologies. Courses in the new M. App Studio, Intergraph Business Intelligence reporting and Intergraph CAD System Administration programs drew large groups eager to get a leg up on the latest features.
Later in the day, Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén officially kicked off the conference with his excellent opening keynote address, ‘Limitless,’ which centered on the limitless potential for improvement in our lives, professions and the world as a whole.
We capped off the night with the first in our series of primetime networking events, aptly titled ‘La Bella Notte’ to reflect the Italian theme of our esteemed host venue. This event also marked the official opening of The Zone, the space for HxGN LIVE’s amazing technology expo featuring product demos. Here, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were enjoyed as both guests and Hexagon employees unwound and chatted, intertwining business with enjoyment as they formed rewarding new relationships. You can catch the hustle and bustle of The Zone – the HxGN LIVE Zone Cam is streaming live from inside.
It’ll be hard to top such a spectacular opening, but Day 2 brings both inspiration and acknowledgement by way of the track keynotes. Each track keynote is sure to be enlightening – be sure to catch them all if you can.
So buckle up, this week is going to be a nonstop bonanza of innovative new practices, demonstrations of smart change and great ideas flowing everywhere.
Welcome to HxGN LIVE 2017.
