Today, we are living in an always-on, always-connected world. This is evident in popular trends and technologies, such as social media, 24-hour news networks and mobile phones. But our constant connectivity includes more than just updating a Facebook status from an iPhone.
The emergence of highly integrated, cloud-based technologies is breaking down informational silos to put the right data into the hands of those who can make a difference when it matters most. Public safety agencies around the world can now collaborate instantaneously across locales to provide citizens with the resources they need when they need them. Whether it’s being alerted to a situation and mobilisng first responders immediately, monitoring an event in real-time, or utilising historical data to plan ahead, access to richer information through connected systems is fueling a digital transformation around the globe. And harnessing the output is leading to positive, data-driven, evidence-based change that is enabling our cities and nations to be smarter and, ultimately, safer.
During my keynote at HxGN LIVE, I will discuss what it means to be “always on” and the role it plays in creating a safer world. I’ll be making an exciting product portfolio announcement that will help your agency realise greater coordination and agility across your enterprise. You don’t want to miss it!
